P.076 Tone management: an environmental scan of current management practices across Canada

Background: Currently, there are no standardized approaches to care or evaluation for tone dysfunction in Canada. The study authors hypothesize that is significant practice variation across the country. This environmental scan aimed describe current management of patients with hypertonia Methods: A web-based survey was developed by a multi-disciplinary approach and sent representative rehabilitation sites each province. All statistical analyses were performed using R software version 4.0. Results: CP found be most common diagnosis dysfunction, 58% (7/12) diagnosing greater than 20 new per year. 12 offered oral baclofen gabapentin, 92% trihexyphenidyl. Botulinum toxin injections at 50% sites. Upper lower extremity procedures 83% In 8 (67%), seen within formal multidisciplinary clinic manage hypertonia. Conclusions: information gained from this provides some insight into Canada children may assist development national, strategy management, potentially facilitating more equitable access patients.
